Volumes and surface areas of prisms (English subtitles available)

The mission of the adventure of a puppet bird and a girl is to explore the methods of finding the volume of a stone. On their journey, they recognize the uniform cross-sections of a prism through pieces of bread and understand the formula for the volume of a prism with the help of an ornament in the shape of a prism. They can then apply the formula to calculate the volume of some containers. They also recognize the method of calculating the surface area of a prism. Finally, they are led to explore whether there is any relation between the volumes and surface areas of different solids.
