節目開始時，主持介紹圓的性質和討論圓的特性包括圓心、圓周、直徑和半徑。主持介紹在日常生活中關於圓的例子及其應用。 主持利用圓形的物件畫圓。還有，主持利用圓心，半徑和圓的特性作圓。節目還會介紹其中部分內容記載從前的人利用工具作圓：「不以規矩，不能成方圓」。還有，主持在文書處理軟件中設定相同高度和寬度便可作圓。
