The second episode of the culture and civilisation series was set in the peak of the ancient Greek civilisation, a time when many myths about the famous Greek gods and heroes were created. Throughout the myth, “Hercules and the Nine-Headed Hydra”, different qualities that lead to perseverance were displayed through the courageous acts of Hercules and Iolaus as well as their determination to follow through their plans.    This episode also introduces some of the sports that were included in the early Olympic Games and ends with a fun and exciting Hercules Tabata.  The last part on Hercules Tabata can serve as an extended activity to promote healthy living.
