這部有聲故事繪本以生動的方式，深入淺出地介紹國家安全的資訊。繪本透過貓頭鷹叔叔、小男孩和小女孩的對話，簡介國家安全所涵蓋的不同領域；《香港國安法》的訂立目的和內容；並以生活例子帶出市民在行使權利和自由的同時，亦須遵守法律的義務，同時要尊重其他人的意見和顧及他人感受，從而帶出「守法」和「同理心」的價值觀和態度。

俊俊經常隨處亂放玩具。有一次，俊俊因為不小心踏在地上的玩具而跌倒，並且手指差點兒觸及牆上的電插。「安全博士」運用法力把俊俊送到「家居陷阱示範室」，並教導他家居安全的常識。

七仔是一個外星人，他獨自到地球遊歷學習，認識了家人開文具店的雯雯。他們一起到金管局資訊中心參觀，深入認識香港的紙幣和硬幣。回來後，雯雯考驗七仔能否應付文具店的工作，有關二零一零年版紙幣的防偽特徵和貨幣的換算的問題，七仔都能一一正確回答。後來，七仔協助一位小朋友購買所需文具，並收取款項及進行找換。
