A Closer Look at the STEM Education – Teachers’ training (Hands-on Experience) (English subtitles available)

This video introduces that the Education Bureau has been providing a 12-hour “Intensive Training Programme on STEM Education” for curriculum leaders and middle managers of all schools in Hong Kong as to enhance schools’ capacity in curriculum planning and leadership. The programme includes theories and practices. Teachers worked in groups to experience the "hands-on" and "minds-on" processes to design and manufacture smart solar cars. Concepts of “Design Thinking”, “Design Process”, and teachers' ability in designing cross-disciplinary STEM learning activities were enhanced.
